Class of 2022

Location has never really been a stress-factor when it comes to photoshoots for me. In fact, I can think of only one time I was completely baffled by the surroundings I found myself in for a session, which shall remain unnamed, and even then, it had more to do with the time of day at said location than the actual pin on the map. The focus of a portrait is you. If you feel great in the outfits you’re wearing, I will work REALLY hard to help you relax and actually have a good time! Wherever we go! I’m not gonna lie, it’s work, for both you and me, but we can still have ourselves some laughs. :)

So, seniors, yay for you! What an exciting time! Although “what’s next?!” seems to be flashing at you all over the place, the beautiful thing is that it’s more than okay for you to not know…yet. You don’t have to be just one thing and your portrait session should reflect that! Wear what makes you feel great, definitely your favorite jeans, but also, don’t be afraid to experiment! Give them the classic graduate postcard moment and have yourself a party at the parking garage. Perhaps with your best friends! The possibilities are endless!

When picking your photographer, make sure you like their editing style. I’m fairly open to collaborate on ideas but I always ask any potential client to look through my past work. Like it? Awesome! Let’s move forward. Don’t like it? Make sure you pick accordingly.

I had a blast photographing Jenelle. She was sweet and had a ready smile at every turn. You can find a few of her photos from a previous session in my portfolio (2 years ago?!). I’m so happy to get to be a part of putting this special event into her memory capsule. Congratulations, Jenelle! And to the entire Class of 2022, the future is bright!
